“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”2 Timothy 2:15
The Youth of Refuge Baptist (students 6th thru 12th grade ) are known as Refugeez. As Christ-followers we are no longer citizens of this world, but citizens of heaven. Our goal is to “Make Disciples Who Make Disciples“. However, we cannot expect young people to be successful at a job that we have not clearly explained to them how to do. Therefore, Sunday morning is focused on teaching from God’s Word what it means to be a true follower of Christ.
Hanging on the door of every Bible preaching ministry could be a sign reading “Humble servants needed. Please apply!” These church, school, mission and camp ministries need young servants, old servants and every age in between. Are you fulfilling the command to serve Him with gladness? (Psalm 100:2)
On Sunday nights we meet at 6pm for a time of worship, and diving into God’s Word! Students meet on Wednesday’s following fellowship at 6;30pm for praise and worship and discipleship training. We believe that students reach students and every believer is commanded to live life on mission. Come join us as we join the everyday mission of God.
The Refugeez invite you to come and be refreshed, renewed, and restored.
Our Refugeez Calender is packed throughout the year with events such as youth revivals, concerts, camps, and other activities.

The student ministry of Refuge Baptist Church exists to lead students to Christ, to have a place for them to lean on other Christians, to help them learn more about their faith, and to challenge them to love and live their lives according to God's wonderful plan.
The Vision of our student ministry is to show the love that Christ has shown us to everyone we come in contact with! If we are growing daily in our faith then it will show to our friends and families and will make them want to know more about what is going on in our lives and in our ministry. We want to grow TOGETHER as one group in the body of Christ!
