“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”2 Timothy 2:15
Refuge Youth is made up of students from 6th through 12th grade. As Christ-followers we are no longer citizens of this world, but citizens of heaven. Our goal is to “Make Disciples Who Make Disciples“. However, we cannot expect young people to be successful at a job that we have not clearly explained to them how to do. Therefore, Sunday morning is focused on teaching from God’s Word what it means to be a true follower of Christ.
Hanging on the door of every Bible preaching ministry could be a sign reading “Humble servants needed. Please apply!” These church, school, mission and camp ministries need young servants, old servants and every age in between. Are you fulfilling the command to serve Him with gladness? (Psalm 100:2)
Students meet on Wednesday’s following fellowship at 7:00pm for a time of praise and worship, a message from our youth pastor, small groups, and games. We believe that students reach students and every believer is commanded to live life on mission. Come join us as we join the everyday mission of God.
Refuge Youth invites you to come and be refreshed, renewed, and restored. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Pastor Jamey at 864-230-5565, or Jake Wilson, our youth pastor, at 864-421-5698.

The student ministry of Refuge Baptist Church exists to lead students to Christ, to have a place for them to lean on other Christians, to help them learn more about their faith, and to challenge them to love and live their lives according to God's wonderful plan.
The Vision of our student ministry is to show the love that Christ has shown us to everyone we come in contact with! If we are growing daily in our faith then it will show to our friends and families and will make them want to know more about what is going on in our lives and in our ministry. We want to grow TOGETHER as one group in the body of Christ!
